Steak Fries

Steak fries on this fabulous Friday. Why steak fries? Because I love potatoes and they are chunk and will hold up to the juices of a steak, not that I eat steak. Oh, and the steak spices. These fries are similar to the baked fries I made a while ago. Yet, these ones have the skin on them still – extra nutrients!

Ingredients

  • 3 large baking potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons of steak spice
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil

Instructions

  • Set the oven to 400 degrees on bake and get your ingredients ready.
  • Wash the potatoes and dry them well. Cut them in large chunky strips - keep the skin on them. Get out a towel and dry off all of the wedges.
  • Toss them in a bowl with the olive oil and the steak spice. Ensure it's all mixed well.
  • Lay them out on a baking sheet evenly - you want them all to cook uniformly.
  • Bake for 22-27 minutes, flipping half way through.
  • Done! Time to eat up these steak fries - they are so good.
