First - put the chicken broth, water, fava beans and garlic in a pot and bring to a boil - reduce to medium-high heat and boil slightly for 12-15 minutes.
Drain the beans and keep some of the cooking liquid.
Put the drained beans in your Vitamix and blend.
Add in the oil, salt, cumin, and cayenne. Blend.
Add in some of the cooking liquid - just a bit at a time - until the desired texture is reached.
Serve with cut carrots, celery, and colourful peppers, or with crackers or pita bread.
