Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon backing soda
  • 2 teaspoons corn starch
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  • First - mix the first 3 ingredients together and set aside. In your stand mixer, mix the sugars, eggs, butter and the vanilla until consistent.
  • Then, add in the bowl of dry ingredients - mix thoroughly.
  • It's the corn starch that makes the cookies chewy - it's so neat how it works...the cookies are chewy for days (if they last that long...)
  • Mix in your chocolate chips or chocolate candies, or skor pieces or sprinkles - whatever your heart desires.
  • Spoon out and place on a baking sheet - cook at 350 degrees for 16 minutes - keep an eye on them, though, your oven many vary.
  • Stack em' up and eat em' up. The chewiest chocolate chip cookies created....cover or consume!
