Cranberry Bars

Have you ever had Starbucks’ Cranberry Bliss Bars? They show up under the clean glass display case sometime after the American Thanksgiving and make my holiday season blissful. I used to work at Starbucks in California when I was younger and I fell in love with the heavenly treat (that and coffee!). Below is my quick interpretation of cranberry bliss.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • Can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 cup flaked white chocolate coconut and dried cranberries

Instructions

  • Start by melting the butter over low heat. Once it's all melted, add in all the graham cracker crumbs and stir well. Smooch the crust mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 pan and let cool for a bit.
  • Next - pour the Eagle Brand can over the crust. Chop up and flake the white chocolate - layer it on after the milk.
  • Then, layer on the flakes of coconut and finish with the dried cranberries - I used craisins.
  • Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes - keep an eye on them, since the condensed milk can start to bubble, caramelize and then start oozing out over top of the dessert - that simply makes it look ugly.
  • Cool and enjoy!
