1-2-3 Dough

1-2-3 dough is super simply, super versatile and super delicious! Here I’m using it to make a pumpkin pie (that recipe to follow very shortly…).

  • 3 parts flour 1 cup
  • 2 parts fat 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 part water 1/3 cup water
  • Want to make it a bit sweet - add 2 tablespoons of sugar


  • Make sure the butter is room temperature - mix small chunks of the butter in with the flour and then slowly add in the water.
  • Roll into a ball and then flatten on a floured surface into the shape you need it in.
  • Bake up and enjoy!
