Smashed BBQ Potatoes
Smashed BBQ potatoes – yes, it’s time to fire up the barbeque and get cooking. I’ve never really been a barbeque person – don’t get me wrong, I love to eat most items that come off the grill, yet I haven’t ventured out to cooking with it. Well, one of my goals this summer is to fire up the propane a little more often.

- 1 bag mini potatoes
- 3 tablespoons of canola oil
- 1 tablespoon of steak spice
- 1 teaspoon of garlic
First, sort out your potatoes, score them and then wash and dry them. Most bags will say the potatoes, especially these mini ones, are pre-washed, yet I still wash them.
Next, put the potatoes in a large bowl and mix with the oil, spice, and garlic.
Place a wire BBQ basket on top of a baking sheet and dump all the potatoes inside.
Then, put just the basket on the grill – medium to low heat.
Cook for 22-30 minutes, shaking the basket once or twice.
Then, using a fork, smash them on a plate and eat up.
