Wedge Salad – a steakhouse classic!
The first time I ever came across the wedge salad was when my husband and I were living in Dallas, Texas. Steakhouse capital of the world!
This salad is simple, fresh, and totally delicious.

Ingredients

  • Head of lettuce - cut in 4
  • 3 tomatoes - seeded and diced
  • Blue cheese - crumbled
  • 8 slices Turkey bacon - diced
  • Blue cheese dressing - and lots of it!

Instructions

  • First - get your tomatoes ready.
  • Now - get your bacon in the pan. Since it's turkey bacon, it needs a bit of oil (some fat) to get it crispy. Crispy-crispy turkey bacon...yum!
  • Cut your head of lettuce and place it on a plate with a lot of room.
  • Start stacking - blue cheese dressing - blue cheese crumble - tomatoes - turkey bacon.
  • It's so crisp and fresh. Eat before any steak dinner.
