Ingredients

  • 12-15 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 recipe Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce

Instructions

  • First up, make the sauce. Or, use store bought if needed.
  • Next, marinate the chicken for at least 3 hours - store in the fridge.
  • Once the chicken drumsticks have marinated long enough, light up the BBQ until it’s nice and hot. Then, turn it down to medium.
  • Cook each side for about 5-7 minutes each. Yet, turn often so you don’t burn them. The BBQ sauce has sugar in it – and most do – which means there is a pretty good likelihood that it could burn black. Be sure to keep an eye on the drumsticks.
  • Once they’re up to temp (165) pull them off the BBQ and eat up. Eat with corn and cabbage salad, or roasted potatoes. Oh, how I love potatoes.
