    Travel: Shibuya Sky

The Shibuya Sky is a great way to see the scramble crossing, yet also an awesome way to see the city sky in Tokyo. It’s just under 230 meters above the city, and if you know me, you know I love high lookout spaces – and the sky doesn’t disappoint! Pro Tip – buy your tickets online. When we visited not only where tickets sold out, for that day, and the next handful of days, but people were turned away. It wouldn’t be much fun…

    Travel: Shibuya Crossing

The Shibuya Crossing is the busiest crosswalk in the world and it located in the heart of Tokyo, Japan. The scramble crossing is west of the city centre in the area of Shibuya. Many different sources say that at peak times, more than 3000 people cross at one time. That’s 2.4 million people a day – a day! Wild! When we visited, around 8:00pm, it wasn’t that busy. Don’t get me wrong, it was busy, just not 3000 people busy. Okay, let’s check out some…

    Photos: Woof Wednesday 9.0

Woof Wednesday 9.0! We’re totally late on this one, but better late than never. We got Daphne 4 years ago (well, a little past, since we’re late). We got her in November 2019 and these are her got-ya day photos. She’s gotten so big, eh?! Not as fluffy as she used to be, but that’s because we keep her hair short. You’d be surprised how many twigs she still catches with her ears. Okay, photo time. Woof Wednesday 9.0 Look at all that hair on…

Brisbane eats – some of our favourite places while we spent five days in the capital of Queensland. Okay, let’s check out some eats. First, if you haven’t head of Woolworths, then you’re missing out. It’s one of the best grocery stores I’ve been to, and I’ve lived near a Whole Foods! Woolworths is full of so much produce, some speciality items (hello gluten free), and a nice bakery. I’ll of course share our top restaurants, too. Brisbane Eats First up, Woolworth. If you caught…

    Travel: Meriton Suites

The Meriton Suites is where we called home while staying in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The beautiful hotel also has residents who live in the upper portion of the building. The suite comes with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, as well as plenty of living space. Let’s check out some photos.
