Celebrate the Baby Boy – this series celebration is from 2015 when I became an aunt for the first time. Time to celebrate the little one…here we go!

In late April of 2015 I found out I was going to be an aunt – so awesome. From that day forward I couldn’t stop seeing little baby items and thinking how cute they were. In the fall of 2014 I decided to star on this celebration series of celebrating the baby boy – my new nephew. Shopping for fabrics and looking for inspiration was so much fun. Finding fabric is one of the best parts of any projects, isn’t it? And when you find the right one, it’s like hitting the jackpot. I felt that way when I found the line of lime and blue textured fabric that I used to make the triangle quilt. I still remember how excited I was to find it. Just awesome.

All of these projects I shared with you in January of 2015, right after my nephew was born, but they’re still awesome and don’t go out of style (unless we no longer have shopping carts…I guess that’s possible one day – haha). I made 9 baby items and each set (I made 3 sets) had 3 items which were made with coordinating fabric. I think my favourite set is the car garage with the pacifier clips and matching toy bags. Just flat out fun. So, check out the adorable sewing projects below and follow along to make your own stunning item. Oh, and please share your projects, too – I love seeing what other’s make. Have fun celebrating your new little one, too. Happy sewing.
