Recipe: Chewy Rainbow Cookies
Chewy rainbow cookies for the holidays? Yes. I’m not a big fan of green and red together, those colours kind of clash, right? They look far better when there is some silver or white to break up the contrast. Anyway, my point is that if you don’t want to use rainbow colours then you could use green, red and white to make them more holiday like. Okay, let’s bake up!
Ingredients
- 2 cups of cake flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 2 teaspoon of corn starch
- 1/2 a cup of white and brown sugar
- 1 cup of salted butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla
- 2 cups of chocolate candy (I used rainbow)
First, gather all of your ingredients. The butter should be at room temperature and set the oven to 350 degrees.
Got your chocolate candy?
Time to mix everything together!
Sift the flour, baking soda and the corn starch together and set aside.
Next, cream the butter, vanilla and the two sugars together. Add in the eggs one at a time. Then, add in the dry ingredients 1/2 a cup at a time. Now, carefully stir in the chocolate candy.
Spoon out the batter and place in the freezer for 5 minutes. Then, bake at 350 degrees for 13-15 minutes.
Done!
These cookies will go fast, so be sure you get one!
Happy holiday baking and we’ll see you again soon. Thanks for visiting.
