    Travel: Airlie Beach Boardwalk

Airlie Beach boardwalk – one of the calmest walks around. From the ocean breeze to the blossoming trees, Airlie Beach is beautiful. If you’re in the area, walk the boardwalk from downtown, by the beach, past the marina and waterfront condos for a nice leisurely walk. You’ll have the ocean on one side and the city on the other. Oh, while we walked we saw a few turtles and some rays in the water – it was so nice to take our time and enjoy…

Travel: Swamp Bay via Mount Rooper Hike

Swamp Bay via Mount Rooper Hike – it’s a little under 7km and took us about 2.5 hours, since we stopped on the beach for a bit. The sun is hot and the water is cool, plus, the views are magic! The hike was super quiet, we only saw one person and their dog, so worth checking out if you’re in the Airlie Beach area. Okay, let’s check out some photos. Worth checking out the exhibits if you’re looking to cool down for an afternoon. Travel: Paddleboarding in Townsville

Paddleboarding in Townsville, Queensland, Australia! Have you ever been stand up paddleboarding? We have and love it. However, we have never been paddleboarding in the ocean. It was fun, although the water was a little choppy. Overall, I’ll admit, it’s not something we’d do again. Some of our favourite paddleboarding is in calm, shallow waters, not becaues we’re afraid of the water, but because we love to explore and see what’s happening below. Our favourite paddle experience was back in 2017 in Christina Creek, but…
