Travel: Doha Lunch Eats
Doha lunch eats – where to eat in Doha, Qatar?! Well, we’ve got you covered from local finds to places that are a little unexpected. Here we’ll share a few of our favourite lunch spots in Doha. Plus, many gluten free options! Okay, let’s check out these eats.
Doha Eats
First up, Nook – it’s in the Katara Cultural Village in Doha and is a delightful place that has healthy eats. The courtyard is peaceful and the vibe is calming. I had a salad with fresh avocado and tomatoes while Bryce had a chicken sandwich and thick fries.
The courtyard is cool, eh? I loved the mix of art and trees – it felt very peaceful.
The next day we spent our time at Education City, full of plants, books, and eats. Flat White had a few fantastic choices and I went with this earthy salad. For lunch that day we ate in the student hall and Bryce had a local go-to Lebanese classic Zaatar w Zeit. We didn’t know until we got home, but Canada has it’s own Zaatar w Zeit in Vancouver.
The salad above was one of the best lunch (not including of the Souq in Bahrain) I had the whole trip.
On our last day we had Thalatheen before visiting the National Museum of Qatar – it’s right outside the entrance, so the perfect place to grab a snack before exploring.
This menu was fabulous – Bryce got the peanut butter bowl (officially called the proud peanut porridge) and I had a fusion farinata – it was so good!
Well, there you have it – Doha lunch eats.
Lunch is one of my favourite meals while travelling – salads to sandwiches, and curries to breakfast, it’s amazing. I believe you can really see a culture through their lunches.
Thanks for stopping by and happy lunch time!
Travel safe, eat snacks, and don’t forget to take photos.
