Travel: Dubai Frame

The Dubai Frame – it’s a newish tourist attraction that frames Old Dubai on one side and New Dubai on the other. Not only is the frame stunning from the grounds, but the view from the top is a sight to see. Okay, let’s check out some photos.

First, you can buy your tickets ahead of time online. It’s about 20$ Canadian and worth it. The line isn’t too long at all – it took us about 20 minutes from our arrival to make it to the top. Then, all in all we spent about an hour at the frame. The top can get a little crowded, so you might spend some additional time waiting to get to the edge of the area you want to see. We didn’t struggle with this much at all, yet it’s something to be aware of. Okay, photos.

You go up one side, walk across the top, and then go down the other side.

On one side you have Old Dubai…

And on the other side, New Dubai.

It’s pretty neat to see the distinction between the two, from a city that started to grow in 2021 compared to one that’s been there for almost two hundred years.

Also, once you head down, there are a few more sights to see. There’s a video and then a museum type area to check out. Be sure to give yourself time to take a peek.
