Travel: Reykjavik Breakfast Eats
Reykjavik Breakfast Eats – here’s where we ate breakfast in Iceland’s capital. From sweets to hearty bowls, we’ve got you covered! First up, a few cafes, yet also we had a great breakfast buffet at our hotel, and you can often trust a grocery store for grabbing a quick breakfast on the go. Okay, let’s check out some breakfast eats.
Reykjavik Breakfast Eats
First up, Hygge Coffee and Micro Bakery is an excellent choice for breakfast as it has bagels, hearty fruit bowls, and lemon cake! Oh, plus very decent coffee.
We got some lemon cake, a bowl, and a bagel – it was the perfect combo for breakfast, accompanied by a quality decaf coffee.
We grabbed a seat and enjoyed each others company. This pace is a block off the main road, so it has plenty of seating.
If you’re in the mood for something faster, you might like Braud and Co. or Bónus, which is a grocery store. Braud and Co. is a quick in and out pastry shop, full of good eats.
The grocery store, is, well, basic – but a great place to pick up tea, oatmeal, and fruit if you’re in the mood for an in-room hotel breakfast. Or, grab a protein bar and a banana and enjoy the walkabout Reykjavik. And, if you’re like us, and your hotel has a nice buffet breakfast, then be sure to check it out!
So, there you go, some of Reykjavik’s breakfast eats – what do you usually have for breakfast when you’re travelling?!
We’ve done a few different things, from slow breakfasts in Mexico City and Chicago, to quick Family Mart snacks in Japan. It all depends on what we’re in the mood for!
Thanks for stopping by and safe travels! See you again soon.
