Project: Pilates at Home 28 Day Challenge
28 Day Challenge
Plates at home 28 day challenge – this is my progress and I’m on day 15, so just over half way. Want to take part? The challenge is put on by The Balanced Life run by Robin Long. Her YouTube channel has a great playlist and the best part, each workout is an average of 8 minutes. Don’t be fooled, though, they are tough. Check it out today!
For those of you who missed my last post, I’m also working on a yoga fix 90 – you should checkout my progress, too.
Here are a few of the challenging poses for me – boat pose and side plank. Pilates is hard – take my word for it. It’s all about building strength and for me, being more aware of my body. Try it!
In this photo below, I’m half holding the pose and half falling back. Practice, right? I just need more practice.
So, I know what you might be thinking. Yoga fix 90 and 28 days of pilates? Yes, right now I’m doing both at the same time. It can be a little challenging at times, but overall, it’s worth it. Especially since the pilates is less than 10 minutes, usually. If you only have time to fit a quick workout in, try Robin’s channel – you’ll be hooked in no time.
To close out, the yoga pose triangle that I’ve been working on. I forgot to take a before (I could barely reach my shin before) yet here is the after!
Okay – this weekend I’ll share with you week three in the 52 weeks of sewing! Back to baking, cooking and sewing while doing yoga and pilates in my spare time.
