Chili cream corn – just in time for your Easter dinner this coming Sunday. I’ll have a couple of other items for your dinner table this week, too, so be sure to stop by again.

This cream corn is so good – and the chili spice adds some much needed heat in this dish. The cream cheese makes it smooth and creamy. It’s the kind of dish that you’ll look forward to each Sunday family dinner. Let’s get cooking!

Ingredients

  • 8oz of cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 2 cans of corn
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1/3 cup of milk
  • 2 teaspoons of chili powder
  • 3 tablespoons of green onions

First, as usual, gather all of your ingredients!

Once you’ve got the cheese shredded and the garlic chopped, it’s time to get the pan ready. Turn the oven on to 375 degrees on roast.

In a medium frying pan, melt the butter. Drain and add the corn and add in the chili powder and garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes. Then, add in the cream cheese and the milk. Keep stirring until the cream cheese is all nice and melty. Cook for another 7-10 minutes.

Time to get it in the oven.

In a baking dish, pour out the chili cream corn mixture.

Top with the shredded cheddar cheese and green onions. Bake for 15 minutes.
