Recipe: Chocolate Sprinkle Cookies
Chocolate sprinkle cookies – they are so fun to make and quite pretty, too. Bake up with the sprinkles or without…you pick.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of salted butter
- 1/4 cup of white sugar
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
- 1/4 cup + 1 teaspoon of coco powder
- 3/4 cup of flour
- 1/4 cup of cake flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and salt
- 1/2 cup of sprinkles
First – gather all of your ingredients. This recipe makes about 16 cookies. Cream the butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla. In a side bowl mix all the dry ingredients together. Slowly add in the dry to the creamed butter, sugar, and egg mixture. Mix well. Set your sprinkles aside.
Roll the cookies into 1 inch balls – then roll in the sprinkles – or not.
Bake at 350 degrees for 9-11 minutes. When they are done, cool them on a rack.
So pretty, eh?
