Recipe: 1-2-3 Dough
1-2-3 dough is super simply, super versatile and super delicious! Here I’m using it to make a pumpkin pie (that recipe to follow very shortly…).
Ingredients
- 3 parts flour (1 cup)
- 2 parts fat (1/2 cup butter)
- 1 part water (1/3 cup water)
- want to make it a bit sweet? add 2 tablespoons of sugar
Make sure the butter is room temperature – mix small chunks of the butter in with the flour and then slowly add in the water.
Roll into a ball and then flatten on a floured surface into the shape you need it in.
If you’re making the dough ahead of time, leave it in a ball shape and it’ll keep in the fridge for 2-3 days. Then, let it sit at room temperature for 40 minutes and roll out.
Bake up and enjoy!
