Recipe: Cookie Dough Bars
Cookie dough bars. Yes! I made protein cookie dough bars a while back, yet these are the real deal. 100% treat. Trust me, they are good.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup of salted butter
- 4 oz of cream cheese
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 cup of white sugar
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla
- 2 cups of chocolate chips (dough)
- 1 cup of chocolate chips (topping)
- 3 tablespoons of peanut butter
As usual, first up, gather all of your ingredients. Cream the butter, cream cheese, and sugars.
Add in the vanilla and then slowly add in the flour. Mix well. Gently stir in the chocolate chips.
Press the dough into an 8×8 pan lined with parchment paper.
Time for the chocolate peanut butter topping. In a microwaveable safe container melt the chocolate chips and the peanut butter together.
Pour over the dough and smooth it out evenly. Store in the fridge for 2 hours.
Done!
Cut and eat.
So good. These are quite sweet, so be ready. Eat up and enjoy.
