Travel: 3 Days in Noosa
3 days in Noosa! Yes, one of Queensland, Australia’s nicest beach cities. From awesome food to national parks, this place is worth the visit. One of the very first things we did when arriving was grab some food. After spending a couple days on Fraser Island we were in the mood to sit and eat. Okay, below you’ll find some highlights and then some photos. Let’s check it out.
3 Days in Noosa
- Chez Noosa Motel
- Noosa National Park
- Noosa Heads Beach and Bakery
- Noosa Farmers’ Market
- Tewantin National Park
- Bandita Mexican
- ESCO Cafe and Restaurant
First, where to stay. We stayed at Chez Noosa and it was perfect. A great location, clean, tidy, and we even cooled down in the pool after hiking in the national parks.
We hiked a few times, checked out the farmers’ market, and walked along Noosa Heads Beach. The bakery was the best part of the walk – snacks! Who doesn’t love gluten free snacks.
Okay, now time for some eats! First, Bandita Mexican restaurant and bar Noosa is worth the trip. We checked out this place shortly after 8pm on a Friday and they were packed. Luckily they had room on the patio where we ordered some snacks. Comfy couches, ocean breeze, and the moon, what more could you ask for? How about good food!
Here’s what they look like during the day! We suggest making a reservation if you want to be sure they have room.
On our morning walk one day we stopped at ESCO for brunch. Bryce had some spicy sausage with eggs and falafel and I had salmon eggs benedict. So good!
One of the best things I’ve ever had to eat was roasted turkey eggs benedict while we were travelling in Maui, and it’s a food memory I keep chasing. The best part is I get to create new food memories. This blue plate above was so good, fresh, and full of flavour. The spicy green verde cut the richness of the sauce so well. Yum!
Well, that’s how we spent our 3 days in Noosa. Wishing you safe travels and happy food memories!
