Alright, let’s jump into some photos! I haven’t shared many of these and there are quite a few of us, highlighting how much fun we had. Okay, let’s take a peek.
We saw Mount Fuji on the train!
Cool, eh?! It’s wild and stunning. I’m happy we had a clear day so we could see the epic mountain.
Up next, the Kyoto aquarium, the bamboo grove, and the historic bridge – the sun was bright that day!
The sun is so bright – trying not to squint – it’s not working very well.
For eats, Kyoto didn’t disappoint. From gluten free crepes (ah, hello awesomeness!) to more ramen, the food was fantastic.
Okay, here’s a few more of us – the botanical gardens and the Imperial Palace.
Also, the temples – check out the dog in the top right with the key. Neat, eh?
Lastly, Kyoto Station. We stayed at the Ibis Styles right across from the train station and let me tell you, the location is perfect.
The station, as you can see below, is busy and full of shopping. It’s a bustling place, that’s for sure. Be sure to give yourself extra time to navigate through the crowds or peer into the shops.
Well, there you have it, 4 days in Kyoto. Happy travelling!
