Travel: Dubai Sights

Dubai Sights

Dubai sights – of course we visited some top tourist areas, yet these sights also make Dubai special. From art to mosques, let’s check out some photos!

Dubai Sights

First up, the Dubai Mall. It’s home to the Dubai Fountain, Burj Khalifa is right around the corner, and you will easily get your 10,000 steps in. The mall is also home to some stunning art. Check out these photos below from divers to spiders, and flexible hearts, too!

Up next, mosques! We stayed in Jumeira and the Sheikh Rashid Bin Mohammed Mosque was right across the street. The building is beautiful, yet more so, watching people come and go for prayer is also a beautiful sight, too.

The most popular mosque we saw was Jumeirah – you can get a tour and although we didn’t, we did stop and take some photos from the outside.

Up next, the beach! We’re not big beach people, yet some travel to Dubai to enjoy the Persian Gulf, the warm sand, and the not-so-cool breeze. La Mer is a quiet public beach that’s surrounded by good eats and nice hotels.

Plus, La Mer is walking distance to Stomping Grounds, one of our top lunch eats!

Up next, we drove by this art piece twice – it’s neat, eh?

Lastly, if you have time, visit City Walk – yes, more shopping, yet we spent most of our time outside looking at the street art. It’s an enjoyable place to check out, grab a snack and walkabout.

Well, there you have it – Dubai sights. Some of the best little memories are made in between plans, don’t you think?! The street art above was a total find, one we wouldn’t have found without being on the hunt for sneakers. It’s a gem, be sure to check out City Walk.

Happy travelling and I’ll see you again soon.
