Travel: Noosa Heads Beach and Bakery
Noosa Heads Beach and Bakery – the perfect way to spend an afternoon. After hiking in Noosa National Park we checked out the beach, watched the crowds, and then walked Hastings Street and ate bakery snacks. The best part, gluten free carrot cake!

Up first, the beach. These shades are so awesome, I just love all the fun colours they come in. Side note, last year we got an umbrella for the deck and the company we got it from has the most adorable sand umbrellas, like white and red stripes, polka dots, they’re so cute I wish we visited the beach often so I could buy one!
Just at the entrance to the beach, and the trail head (opposite end we took), there are a bunch of signs that give you background on the area. I find information like this so intriguing, it’s helpful, and slows down your visit – so you can take it all in!
Okay, the highlight of our walk on Noosa Heads Beach and Hastings Street – the Providore Bakery. We didn’t plan on this place, yet found it by happenstance. Gluten free carrot cake and gluten free caramel and chocolate brownie. Delicious! So delicious that I forgot to take photos before taking a bite!
Perhaps it’s because we live in the country and don’t often head into the city to just wander the streets stopping at a little shop, but it’s one of my most favourite things about travelling. Walking without a destination, looking around, grabbing a coffee or snack, and people watching. It’s not only fun, it’s peaceful and grounding.
Well, there you have it, a little peak into Hastings Street, Noosa Heads Beach, and the Bakery – Providore. I wish they shipped their goods (not that they’d stay fresh on the trip), since they were that good! See you again next time.
