Travel: Science World Vancouver
Science World Vancouver
It’s one of the coolest places if you like science and having fun. For some reason Bryce and I love science centres – I think it’s because we’re just big kids at heart. We loved the Hong Kong Science Museum and Vancouver had a similar set up – the mind teasers are so much fun.
This epic omnimax is unforgettable. We saw Dream Big: Engineering Our World – see it if you get the chance.
Science World is located on Quebec Street and is pretty central if you ask me.
This game – the water gun game – is one of my favourites. One of the tricks at the Science Centre is to find the line and if you’re an adult, be patient. Children are certainly going to cut in front of you. We waited about 10 minutes to play this game. So worth it.
I’m sure you get the idea, you shoot water at a highlighted target and whoever has better aim wins. Clearly, I lost and Bryce has far better aim!
All of these brain buster stations are so much fun, until you get frustrated and can’t figure it out. You know what makes you feel better? When a six year old walks up and says, “I can do it for you!” It’s so funny. This letter T, I couldn’t get it at all. Bryce nailed it.
We saw this sign on our way out – I love organizations that have a bit of fun. It makes life fun. The elevator is old. So cute.
On our last stop out the door we saw chickens. They were just roaming around living it up in the rain. What a life!
Overall, we had such a wonderful afternoon at Science World Vancouver. If you’re in the area, and have the time, then visit – you’ll have a blast. See you next time.
