Travel: War Remnants Museum Ho Chi Minh City
The War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City is a must visit if you’re in Vietnams capital. We spent about 2 hours here reading and observing. We didn’t do a lot of talking until after. Reunification Palace is such a beautiful building. It’s old, yes, but also very historical to the Vietnam War. I visited on my birthday, April 29, the day before Reunification Day. Ben Thanh Market This is the busiest market in the capital of Vietnam! Also, it’s centrally located in district 1 of Ho Chi Minh City, which is where we were staying at the Hello House. Okay, let’s get shopping at the Ben Thanh Market! So many items, from knockoff designer bags to items that are actually made in Southeast Asian factories and sold at deep discounts in these markets. Hello House The Hello House Ho Chi Minh City is a delightful little place in the central backpacker district. Also, it’s quite inexpensive. This room cost us 87$ for 3 nights – that’s 27$ a night?!
