Photos: Daphne Turns Three
Daphne turns three! The last year has been a blast with this sweet pup – from longer sleep-ins, to longer hikes, this pup is ready for her best year yet! Okay, let’s check out some photos from the past year.
Daphne Turns Three
First up, she ate Bear’s nose. This is my stuffie from when I was born, Tiger’s fan an all. Well, Daph-Daph snagged Bear one day and nibbled at his nose until it came off. Not to worry, Bryce just crazy-glued it back on. Bear survived, ha-ha.
In the fall, Daphne loves to explore. When she was a wee-pup she liked to chase leaves, yet not so much anymore. She’s too big for that now.
She’s not too big to play with toys, though. Here she was so tired, yet didn’t want me to touch (aka, put away) her toys, so she napped on her basket. Such a goof!
One thing we learned this past year is that dog clothes are not made for Daphne – nope, it’s custom clothes all the way. This unicorn hoodie was way too small and the hood too short for her long neck and head.
Hikes are the best. Daphne is a trooper and hikes in all weather, sun, snow and rain! All in all, she just loves to sniff.
Just like Sheldon Cooper, she has her spot. Don’t even think about sitting it in.
Oh, and we experienced a major snow storm in April – she was so excited the fluffy white stuff was back!
Here she is in her spot again, yet post haircut. Daphne turns three – the perfect excuse to visit the salon.
We send her about 3-4 times a year, and each time we do we’re so unbelievably happy we send her. Keeping her hair short is the best – it dries fast, and makes for quick foot baths, thus keeps the house cleaner. All in all, a win-win. Plus, her pink bow looks adorable.
Well, there you have it – photos of Daphne! She’s a keeper! Morning walks, afternoon sprints, and evening naps are Daffer’s go-to activities. She still loves daycare, all her friends, and the attendants, yet she loves being home, since that’s where the snacks are, ha-ha!
Thanks for stopping by and we’ll see you again soon.
