Project: Plants 3.0
Plants 3.0. As I’m sure most of you know, plants come and go. They grow, they die, and sometimes you need to cut them back like the banana tree for them to grow healthier. Well, last year I shared plants 2.0 with you so I thought it was time for a little plant action.
Let’s check out some of these beautiful houseplants.
Plants 3.0
This guy is huge! I got him back in December 2018 (maybe 2017, nah, I think 2018) as a stocking stuffer for Bryce. Well, he’s bigger than the stocking now. Such an awesome plant.
And this guy – he was so small when we first got him. Only about 10 leaves, not he has more than 40!
The butterfly plant – loves the sun and moves to find it.
These two got moved and took up a new home in the stairway. Still, a lot of natural light.
The oldest plant we have is this ficus we got at Home Depot back in 2009 when we first moved to Alberta. It’s taller than Bryce now. So cool.
The guest rooms are home to a few plants, too. This fire stick is a favourite and now lives in the cow room (that’s what we call one of our guest rooms). Why? Because it has a cow crossing sign and a bull above the bed. Oh, and the most adorable planter for the mother-in-law’s tongue we have – see below.
It’s the pot above just so adorable! It’s perfect for the guest room.
Okay, well, there you have it – plants 3.0. Thanks so much for visiting and we hope you have a houseplant or two, too. See you soon.
Oh, and do check out the plants 2.0 since the money plant and the butterfly, oh, and the big succulent at the beginning were shared last year – it’ll be a great comparison for you to check out.
