Recipe: Baked Apple Chips
Again with the apples. This time, baked apple chips.
Not only are they easy to make, they are a delightfully light snack. You’ll eat them up.
Ingredients
- 4-5 apples
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 4 teaspoons of sugar
Set the oven to 275 degrees – let it heat up.
First – wash your apples. Cut them at thinly as possible. You can core them if you like, however, I didn’t. The core leaves a little crunch and texture. Pat them dry and lay them down on a baking sheet that’s covered in parchment paper. Sprinkle on the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
You want the apples lightly dusted with the cinnamon and sugar…not drowning in it. Bake for 1 1/2 hours. Turn them over. Bake for 1 more hour until they are crispy.
Done!
