Recipe: Banana PB Protein Bites
I’ve had a few recipes in the last few days that are directed towards breakfast – and I have another to share! Although, this isn’t necessarily for breakfast, it’s certainly a great option.
Bananas, oats, peanut butter, protein powder, and a few chocolate chips. What’s not to love?! Let’s get baking these banana pb protein bites.
These bites (or cookies, if you wish) are filling and pack a healthy punch.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup of peanut butter
- 1 cup of quick oats
- 1/4 cup of chocolate chips
- 2 scoops of protein powder
Mix all the ingredients together really well – you don’t want a chunk of protein powder, that would be yucky.
I find that mixing by hand is best for this recipe – in the mixer it sticks too much to the sides and I end up having to mix it by hand anyway.
Next – time to bake!
Roll into balls and bake at 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes (until slightly golden on top).
Take them out of the oven…let them cool…eat!
This recipe makes about 12 bites and they were gone in 2 days! That’s a success!
Make extra and put them in the freezer. Eat healthy and enjoy life!
Thanks for visiting!
