Recipe: Cookies n’ Cream Cookies
Like, or love rather, Oreo cookies? Then you’ll love these cookies n’ cream cookies from 3ten.ca. Celebrating day 7…I know, I left you hanging for a day or two, but the 12 days of cookies is back!
These cookies are soft and taste like actual cookies n’ cream ice cream. We (or my husband, actually) eat them up!
Ingredients
- 1 cup of soft salted butter
- 1/2 cup of packed brown sugar and white sugar
- 1 package of vanilla pudding mix
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups of flour
- 3/4 cup of cake flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt and baking soda
- 12 crushed Oreos
- 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips
If you’re lucky and you can find Oreo pudding mix, or cookies n’ cream pudding mix, than use it. Here in Canada, I couldn’t find it anywhere. I even checked out our new Target. No such luck. This recipe is adapted from Notes form Nessa – the recipe, not too sure where it started, but it’s floating around Pinterest and has become extremely popular.
You need to try it!
First, as always, cream the butter and the sugars. Add in the pudding mix. Add in the eggs and vanilla. Mix in flours, salt, and baking soda. Stir in the Oreos and white chocolate chips.
Roll in to 1 inch balls and bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. They will look underdone, but that’s because they’re white – trust me and take them out. Have a good look – are the edges just a touch brown – if so, they’re done.
This recipe makes about 36-50 cookies – depending on your interpretation of 1 inch. My suggestion, put about 12 in a zip lock bag and put them in the freezer. Why? Because these cookies do not last long!!
Snack up and enjoy.
See you tomorrow!
