Recipe: Reese’s Monster Cookies
Monster cookies. These cookies are big, like monster big. Chewy and soft – they are the perfect treat. I made these this summer as plain monster cookies, yet this time I’ve added reese’s pieces instead. Let’s get baking!
Ingredients
- 2 sticks of butter
- 1 cup + 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of white sugar
- 1 1/2 cup of smooth peanut butter
- 2 large eggs
- 3 teaspoons of vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups of flour
- teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 cup of oats
- 1 1/2 cup of reese’s pieces
- 1/2 cup of chocolate and peanut butter chips
First up – measure out and gather all of your ingredients.
Cream the butter and sugars. Add in the peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla until well mixed. Then, slowly add in the flour and baking soda. Stir in the oats and 1 cup of the reese’s pieces. Then mix in all of the chocolate and peanut butter chips.
Now stir in 1/2 of the reese’s pieces. Then, roll them out and form into crab cake like shapes – you want them thick so they stay soft and chewy. Top with the remaining half of the reese’s pieces.
Bake at 350 degrees for 9-11 minutes. Don’t bake them any longer…then they won’t be soft and chewy.
Done!
Let them cool for about 10-15 minutes.
Now eat and enjoy.
These are good – you need to try them. Up next, I’m going to try them with broken skor pieces. Toffee and chocolate – yes please (oh, and gluten free next time, too).
See you again soon.
