Project: Apartment Therapy Post
Apartment Therapy Post. What? We’re in an Apartment Therapy Post? Seriously? Seriously! Back in late September Apartment Therapy did a little piece on us – it was so much fun and it’s a cute story as to how we found out. Before and After So, how did we find out? Well in late October we were in Ottawa visiting Bryce’s sister. It was a Sunday afternoon and we were talking about how people need to be careful how they represent themselves on Social Media. As…

Project: Larry the Boler After
Larry the Boler after. Ta-Da!! Here is Larry the Boler after. In all his glory. He’s shining with delight and ready to hit the open road. Too bad there’s snow on the ground right now. Augh. We stuck with blue and went for a more bright sky blue with a bit of a warmer undertone than the before colour. Do you like it? We love it! These cozy camper cushions are also a great touch – they warm up the light and bright inside and…

Project: Larry the Boler Before
Larry the Boler before – here are all of the before and a few progression photos of our work on this blue beauty. My dad is a huge Detroit Lions fan (man, can then win one soon, please!) and this little gem reminds me of the Lions so much. We got him last year on a northernly drive about 6 hours north of us. It was such an awesome road trip. This is Larry. Sure – he looks pretty decent, until you look closer and…

Project: How to Fiberglass a Boler
What? I know – it’s a odd topic found here on 3ten.ca, but it has a purpose. Most of you know Bryce and I fix up old Boler trailers and send them off into the world with happy new owners. Thus far we’ve done 4 and we’ve kept Tipsy, which makes 5. On Instagram we’ve been asked more than a handful of times about fiberglass. So, this post is for those who are looking for a bit of direction. Know that we’re total DIYers –…

Project: Minnie the Boler After
She’s all done – here is Minnie the Boler after her renovation. This 1971 Boler is a true piece of Canadian history – and now she’s at home in California. Yes, in Cali. Minnie the Boler After I love how these adorable vintage hubcaps just pull the whole look together. Also, I love how she doesn’t have a huge vent for the fridge or for the furnace – keeps this side looking clean. The white LED license plate light – it’s all in the details.…

Project: Minnie the Boler Before
This is Minnie the Boler – she’s a 1971 (although we initially thought 1979) Canadian made fiberglass trailer. We called her Minnie because we ended up picking a Mango Sorbet colour to paint her and one of our favourite little places to grab take-away is called Mini Mango. As such, meet Minnie the Boler. Minnie the Boler Before Rough shape? Yes. We picked her up a few hours from home and although I say she’s in rough shape, she really isn’t. The body was in…

Project: Benny the Boler After
Benny the Boler Ta-Da! Here is Benny the Boler after. A delightful little trailer that is on the open road travelling and camping. This fibreglass trailer is 44 years old, can you believe it? Benny the Boler after is so great – I’m excited to share these photos with you and hopefully inspire you to go camping yourself. Done. Check out this beautifully sunny trainer – Benny the Boler. Did you see the before photos? This 1974 13-foot trailer has come a long way. New…
