The Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Oh my goodness, this place is massive and so awesome! Jewelry, furniture, and dinnerware were my favourite exhibits – and photography. The British Museum, just like the National Gallery, is free by donation and is worth the visit. It’s full of artifacts and installations that intrigue the mind and create a sense of wonder. The National Gallery is worth the visit. First off, it’s free (by donation). Secondly, it’s full of beautiful art and rich in history. Travel: Royal British Columbia Museum
The Royal British Columbia Museum is a great place to spend the morning if you’re out and about in Victoria. Plus, the IMax is usually a fun experience. Travel: Chichen Itza
Oh my goodness, this place – Chichen Itza – is awesome. One of the 7 wonders of the world, it’s most definitely worth the visit. Chichen Itza First, get a guide and opt for the shorter version. Travel: Tulum, Mexico
Tulum, Mexico is about 35-45 minutes south of Akumal – and about 2 hours south of Cancun. It’s beautiful. Bryce and I took the Colectivo and saw the ruins, had lunch, and walked around this sweet little city. Tulum, Mexico First – make sure you bring sun screen, a hat, and something to drink.
