    Travel: Banff National Park 2024

Banff National Park 2024 – a camping, hiking, and paddleboarding trip in June. We had great weather, cool nights, and hit the sub zero water while out paddleboarding. All in all, we were thankful for the fire and a warm Boler to lay our heads. Banff National Park 2024 First up, paddleboarding. We got these boards back in 2018 and have enjoyed a few adventures with them in glacial water. Waterton Lakes? Check. Jasper? Check-Check. Banff? Check-Check-Check! Third time’s a charm, right? Well, not when…

    Travel: Paddleboarding in Townsville

Paddleboarding in Townsville, Queensland, Australia! Have you ever been stand up paddleboarding? We have and love it. However, we have never been paddleboarding in the ocean. It was fun, although the water was a little choppy. Overall, I’ll admit, it’s not something we’d do again. Travel: Banff Paddleboarding 2020

Banff paddleboarding 2020 – that’s right, back in July we headed to Banff and took a paddle on the Bow River. It’s bright blue and full of glacier runoff. Oh, and cold. The water is very, very cold. Where do we dock? We use the Banff Canoe Club since they welcome the public. Plus, 3 hour parking is located right across the street. Total score. Okay, let’s check out some photos. Banff Paddleboarding 2020 Check out this guy – he’s happy on the water. Big…

    Travel: Paddleboarding in Kelowna

Paddleboarding in Kelowna – yes! We were visiting family in June and after getting a new roof rack for our truck, we decided we’d travel with our boards. So much fun. We spent a couple of hours on the Okanagan Lake with the sun in one direction and ominous rainclouds in the other. Check out the truck below. On our first try it took us about 20 minutes to get the boards up and tied down. I think once we become more familiar with the…
