Travel: Mirador Torre Latino

Mirador Torre Latino

Mirador Torre Latino is one of the tallest skyscrapers in Mexico City. It’s got an observation platform, a museum, and a cafe. Check out the views of Mexico City!

First, you can buy your tickets online, yet they’re cheaper if you buy them in person. The line was about 10 minutes, so not long at all. You’ll be up 40+ floors and if the day is clear (although the air quality in Mexico City isn’t that great) you’ll get to see the mountains and the vastness of the city.

If you’re lucky enough not to wait in line, do check out the wall opposite the ticket desk – they have many other hight buildings (CN Towner and Empire State Building, for example) listed as comparisons. It’s neat to see. Okay, more photos!

The building is in use for many other things, so don’t be surprised if the elevators are busy. Also, a few tour groups hang out front of the door and will try and upsell on packages – just use your travel knowledge and don’t over pay! Often when this happens to us, we’ll check out prices on our phones and most often the package they’re selling isn’t worth it at all.

Okay – some views from the top!

We even went outside on the observation deck. Even though it was a warm day, the wind was cool that high up! Bryce got nervous when I put my phone through the fence – probably not the best idea.

All in all, it was a great way to the see the city – and the Mirador Torre Latino is worth the visit. Check it out early on in your stay, if you can. We visited after the Formula 1 race and had a fun time trying to find the track, yet also seeing how populated the city is – wild!

Thanks for stopping by – see you again soon. Enjoy your weekend!
