Project: My Ole Lady the Boler After
It’s done – and sold, yet the work we did on My Ole Lady the Boler is beautiful. Check it out – bright red accents with a light and bright interior. So fun. Oh, and if you haven’t seen the before, you should check that out first; it’s cool to see how much this lady has transformed. My Ole Lady the Boler After We took this shabby paint job, sandpaper, and a lot of time and turned it into a fun little camper. She’s ready…

Project: Halloween Treats
Halloween treats – yes, treat bags for the trick-or-treaters tonight. Halloween Treats Each year I put together about a dozen treat bags for the children who trek out to our house in the country. I don’t know why, yet I feel like since there aren’t that many houses around we should give bigger treats. Does that even make sense? So, this year I’ve got popcorn, full sized chocolate bars, halloween ring pops, fizz candy, and some other items, too. I also picked up these spooky…

Project: Minnie the Boler Before
This is Minnie the Boler – she’s a 1971 (although we initially thought 1979) Canadian made fiberglass trailer. We called her Minnie because we ended up picking a Mango Sorbet colour to paint her and one of our favourite little places to grab take-away is called Mini Mango. As such, meet Minnie the Boler. Minnie the Boler Before Rough shape? Yes. We picked her up a few hours from home and although I say she’s in rough shape, she really isn’t. The body was in…

Did you see the before photos? This 1974 13-foot trailer has come a long way. New…

Project: Guest Room
Our other guest room – it’s all done, bright and ready for guests. Last week I shared our DIY headboard project with you and promised some updated photos of our guest room. Well, here they are! You can tell from the photos of the headboard project that the room was a dark grey. With the new mirror barn door (another post to come soon) and the white walls, the room is much brighter, more welcoming, and overall, mega awesome. Let’s check it out! Guest Room…

Project: November Intentions
It’s November first and we have a fresh coat of snow on the ground. The day is bright. It’s also a new beginning – new month – new season. I follow Lee from America on Instagram and she usually posts her intentions for the month. I flat out love this. One of my New Year’s resolutions is going start doing this. Then I thought, why wait? Take action now. So, here we are on November first, setting intentions. November Intentions Start small and set yourself…

Project: Pottery
Project pottery. Sounds fun, right? Well, it is! When I gave you some of the updates in the Summer is Here post I totally forgot to mention that Bryce and I took a pottery class this past spring. 6 classes, each 3 hours long. When we first stopped by the studio I was really curious how many pieces average students can complete in the 6 classes – the teacher’s response was a modest 3-6. Well, 6 classes and 18 hours later we’ve got 20 pieces…
