Travel: Dubai Snapshot
Dubai snapshot! We had an awesome four days in this widely modern city. From massive buildings to historical museums (one designed by a Canadian architect), we had a blast. Oh, and the food! So good. Like worth the travel for just the food good.
Okay, a few photos! I have a lot of us, not to worry – I’ll share those in the future!
Dubai Snapshot
A few of the sights and then some food photos. Have you heard of the Dubai Frame? It’s a new tourist attraction that frames Old Dubai and New Dubai. It’s worth checking out. Plus, as you know I love, it gives you sky-high views of the city.
Flowers, anyone?! These sculptures are impressive, from the amount of water needed to keep them alive, to the creativity in creating some of the landscapes. Such a bright and fragrant experience. So stunning.
Food! The food is incredible. I haven’t been anywhere else (yet!) that’s had so many authentic dining experiences, ones that are truly representing the places and cultures. So good.
Neat, eh?! Dubai is full of experiences so if you’re into skydiving, snorkeling, or sightseeing like us, then you’re in luck – Dubai has it all. Really, this Dubai snapshot is just that, a small peek into what Dubai has to offer. You’ve probably heard, you can downhill ski one day and attend a waterpark the next – well, it’s true! You can.
I’ve got so much more to share about Dubai, from some museums to food experiences, I’ll be sure to share a lot of photos. One thing I’m grateful for back home, though, is the weather. It’s hot here! A couple of year’s ago we visited Omaha, and while Dubai in the winter isn’t that hot, it’s still very hot.
Okay, enough about weather – back to travelling. Thanks for stopping by and happy travelling! See you again soon – bye!
