Recipe: Banana Donuts

Banana Donuts – they are light and fluffy – the perfect quick bite in the morning for breakfast or for a late morning snack. Either way, you need to bake up and try these!

Ingredients

  • stick of salted butter
  • 1/2 cup of white sugar
  • an egg
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 3/4 cup of flour
  • 1/4 cup of cake flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 2 small ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup of high fat sour cream

First – gather your ingredients. Then, cream the sugar and the butter. Slowly add in the dry ingredients. Last, mix in the bananas and sour cream. Mix well.

Fill the donut pan – but not too high – about 1/2 way at most. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

Take them out and let them cool for about 10 minutes before you try and remove them from the pan.
