Travel: Emirates Palace Mandrin Oriental
The Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental is the hotel in Abu Dhabi – it’s stunning, full of history, and is glamours. After visiting the Observation Deck at 300 we crossed the street and checked out his historic hotel. Something cool that was happening when we visited was a Michelin Food Show – we thought about attending, yet we didn’t think it was worth it with me being gluten free. It was, however, very cool to see all the set-up.
Okay, let’s check out the grand hotel – photos below!

First up, the walk up to the hotel is beautiful. You don’t get the full impact if you drive up or take an Uber. So, if you do get there via car, don’t hesitate to walk down and back so you can see the grandness that is the Palace!
The water fountains are refreshing and the give off this peaceful sound – of course, it’s hot, so the mist is for sure welcomed! I wanted to sit and people watch on the benches, yet it wasn’t too busy down on this level. Most of the action was up closer to the hotel.
Once inside, the details were remarkable. There are a lot of places to converse, take a break, have a coffee, or check out the hotel. Most of the main floor is a fully public space.
Well, there you have it – the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental! The entrance is so busy – check it out. We enjoyed waiting for our Uber when we were leaving, there were a lot of luxury cars. So many! We saw a lot of high-end cars while in the Middle East, yet this was a cluster, that’s for sure.
Overall, we spent about 25-30 minutes checking out the hotel and grabbing a snack. There’s a few art installations in the main areas, too. Worth walking especially if you’re in the area.
Thanks for stopping by – happy travelling!
