Travel: Glacier National Park
Glacier National Park has a part of my heart forever. It’s so beautiful and I was delightfully happy spending 3 days with Bryce and Lily in the massive national park. See it if you get a chance – you won’t be sorry.
We traveled the Going-to-the-Sun-Road and cooked on our camp fire.

Okay, back to our family time at Glacier National Park.
We had fires, cooked on the open flame and roasted marshmallows.
This picture is adorable. Mainly because we actually came close to a bear – a black bear. Thankfully we follow the rules and Lily was on a leash. It was an intense 6 seconds of fear and then we calmed down when the black bear ran towards the lake. We just turned around and went back to our campsite.
Lake St. Mary – so pretty. Lily liked to run in the water and had a staring contest with a deer.
The fire from just under a year ago left some unique trees – sad and beautiful all at once.
Some massive mountains and some comfy camping.
We finished off our last day with a final walk down to the lake – no bear this time!
Overall we had a restful time camping, eating, hiking and relaxing in Glacier National Park. Lily is such a hoot and we’re so grateful for family trips like this one. Glacier National Park, thank you for the wonderful experience you will forever have a piece of my heart. The memories you left me with are priceless.
Happy Thursday to you and I hope you’ve had a great week so far – enjoy the weekend and don’t forget to get some family time in. See you Saturday.
