Travel: Ibis Styles Dubai Jumeira

Ibis Styles Dubai Jumeira! This hotel is in a wonderful location if you’re visiting Dubai. We like to book for value and location – and the Etihad Museum is right around the corner, plus, the Dubai Mall and the Dubai Frame are about a $6.00 (CAD) Uber away. Ibis Styles Dubai Jumeira

First, we had a great time at the Ibis Styles Kyoto Station and was the main reason for booking this hotel in Dubai. Second, the room was clean, had a lot of space, and was able to accommodate a few extras. Our extras?! For us we got extra pillows, ironing board, and a very late check-in.

Look at all that space?! So much larger than our room in Tokyo, haha.

We flew out of Edmonton on a Tuesday evening, connecting through Amsterdam, and arriving in Dubai slightly after midnight on a Thursday. We got to the hotel around 1:45am. Look how tired we are – I can hardly keep my eyes open. Haha.

Well, after a very restful sleep, and the morning prayer from the mosque across the street, the bright sun in the desert showed up and this hotel really came to life.

The Ibis Styles Dubai Jumeira offers breakfast, has two restaurants on sight, is walking distance to a few convenience stores, and there’s a gym in the hotel as well as down the street. Check out their site. Plus, it’s easy to find, has quality amenities, and it offers a good value. We’re city people, so if you’re visiting Dubai for the beach or resorts, then check out La Mer or the Dubai Marina – that’ll be more your style.

Where do you like to stay on vacation?! By the beach, in the city centre, or are you full resort person? For us, it’s city all the way.
