Travel: Meriton Suites

The Meriton Suites is where we called home while staying in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The beautiful hotel also has residents who live in the upper portion of the building. The suite comes with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, as well as plenty of living space. Let’s check out some photos.

Meriton Suites

We stayed at the Herschel Street location mainly because it was closer to a lot of the things we wanted to do while in Brisbane. For example, the Queensland Art Gallery and Brisbane City Hall. The other bonus is, we rented a car for 3+ weeks and the drop-off location was about a 10 minute walk – perfection!

Okay, let’s check out some photos. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and answered any question we had, as well as let us check-in a bit early. Love when that happens!

Check-out is a bit earlier than other places at 10am, but our flight home was at 10:45am so it didn’t bother us at all. Plus, another good thing, the staff are on 24/7, so it’s safe and secure.

Since the building is so high, there are about 8 elevators, and 4 for the upper floors and 4 for the lower ones, just to keep things moving.

With our suite specifically, we had a lot of space – check it out.

Our view was okay – typical city scape. It was, however, really nice to see the water. A handful of the bridges are non-auto bridges, so full of pedestrians and bicycles – we made use of them for sure, especially on our Brisbane South Bank City Walk.
