Travel: Mexico City Dinner Eats
Mexico City dinner eats! We ate at some of the worlds top restaurants and below I’ll share some food photos, the names of the restaurants, and a few details of our delicious experiences. Okay, let’s check out some CDMC eats!
Mexico City Dinner Eats
We ate at 6 fantastic restaurants and they’re listed below in order with our favourite at the top. Don’t get me wrong, they were all great and worth visiting – we’d go back to each place, without a doubt!
Quintonil
Okay, first up is Quintonil. This place is full of wonder. I did share a full post on just Quintonil last weekend, be sure to check it out if you missed it. Here are is a handful of our favourites from that night and a snap of us!
Quintonil books up far in advance, so if you’re looking for a wonderful dining experience, book your reservation first, then your flights! Once in a life time experience – happy eating.
Rosa Negra
Up next, Rosa Negra. This place is hip, too hip and cool for us, yet we stumbled across it on the Sunday night after the Mexico City Grand Prix. I wasn’t sure when the race would end so this night we decided not to book anything. As we travelled back to the hotel, we booked this place for an 8:30pm seating – the food was so good.
This place has great eats – we love acid, so things were well seasoned and the presentation was an A+. The one drawback was that the restaurant was loud, had a sort of club feel, so not necessarily our cup of tea, but the food was worth it.
Merotoro
Please eat here if you’re in Mexico City. Seriously, this place is fantastic! It’s a bit far, so not many make the travel unless they’re go-getter foodies. The icing on the cake on this one, we saw a Borzoi after dinner and his parents were kind enough to let us pet him and we talked for a bit. It was such a delightful end to delicious food. Okay, photos of Merotoro’s dishes.
Oh, and if the weather is nice, sit on the patio outside!
Raiz
Guess who we saw at Raiz on the Saturday night after F1 Quali? Valtteri Bottas! I know – he was sitting behind us and the group that was across from us kept looking our way, peering and acting oddly. Finally, we moved tables and then figured out what was happening. Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service.
This place has only about 10 tables, so be sure you make a reservation!
Rosette
One of the Worlds 60 best restaurants – I know! We had dinner at two top restaurants in Mexico City. The restaurant has Italian flair with Mexican ingredients – the ambiance was divine. Small little rooms with mismatched plates. Perfection.
Be sure to check out this gem!
Carmela y Sal
This place is full of swagger. The chairs are luxury, the service is top notch, and the food is delicious. Up for bold flavours and non-traditional Mexican food, then check out this place. It’s elegant with a bit of a rustic twist.
Well, there you have it! Our 6 Mexico City dinner eats! Don’t you just love travelling for good food? Ah, it’s so much fun.
Thanks for visiting – see you again soon.
