Travel: Plant Gather

Plant Gather – this amazing plant store is in Kelowna, British Columbia. It’s one of a kind (we’ve been in so many plant stores!) and it’s run by some incredibly knowledgeable staff. Plus, they have a little display to the right of their entrance – take a clipping, leave a clipping. So fun! Okay, let’s check out some photos.

Plant Gather

If you’re like us, you love plants. We have more than 80 (yes, I know!). We have this one little guy, an air plant, who has had about 25+ babies. And yes, I’m counting each one as its own plant. Okay, back to the store. This place has massive plants and little plants, it has pothos and succulents, and it even has its own little tropical greenhouse.

This desk station below is a highlight for me. It’s creative, functional, and gives life to some of these air plants and succulents. This is the energy in the store, one that’s organic, flowing, and being in the present moment. Plus, check out the massive fiddle leaf fig in the next photo – I wish we had room for a guy like that!

Notice the mister below? It’s like a little west coast rainforest – the ferns (I think they’re ferns?!) are loving the moisture. And the little terrarium on the table is quite happy, too.

Neat, eh?! They do serve coffee, too – so, if you’re in the Kelowna area, be sure to stop by, grab a cup and walk around and enjoy the live art. Plants are such a warm way to add texture and life to any space. Plus, they make me happy, and I’m sure they’ll brighten up your day, too.
