Travel: Tryp by Wyndham

The Tryp by Wyndham is in an awesome central spot in Abu Dhabi. Plus, it’s within walking distance to one of our top cafes. It’s clean, reasonably priced, and has incredibly helpful staff – they helped us arrange a private driver to take us to the Dubai Airport for about 1/3 of what we thought we’d have to pay.

Below I’ll share some photos of our hotel, yet I wanted to share that 2-3 of the rooms we saw – you know when housekeeping has the door propped open and you see in? Well, in those rooms we saw stacks and stacks of shopping bags, shoe boxes, and other luxury purchases. One room had at least 25 shoe boxes. Wild! Okay, photos of our room.

We had a corner room, which was so nice, quiet, and spacious!

The hotel is easy to spot as it’s tall and sort of in an odd spot, facing an off road. One thing to note if you’re using Uber, often times our driver ended up on the other side of the street. Something to be mindful of, that’s for sure.

The bathroom was big, bright, and clean, too.

Overall, we had an awesome time at the Tryp by Wyndham. Plus, we had an early check-in and they stored our luggage for us until well past 9pm before we made our way to Dubai for our 1:30am flight.

Well, there you have it, a sneak peek into the Tryp in Abu Dhabi. I’m not sure about you, but we like to stay in hotels that are in safe areas, offer quality service, and other than being clean, we’re not too picky about the amenities. We could take or leave breakfast, pools, or other special items. Oh, we like wifi! That’s a total must while travelling, don’t you think?!

All in all, we had an awesome three days in Abu Dhabi.
