Travel: Wyndham Garden Hotel
The Wyndham Garden Hotel in Manama, Bahrain is not only in a fantastic location, it’s also one of the roomiest rooms we’ve had, like ever. Our room had views of the city, the harbour, and of the Al Fateh Grand Mosque. With a sitting area, a king sized bed, and a mini-kitchen and eating area, the room would have been perfect if we stayed for a week. Okay, let’s check out some photos.

First up, when we went through customs at the Bahrain airport the guard (the nicest we’ve had!) asked where we were staying. All part of the entry visa, you have to have your accommodations booked before you enter. We told her and without hesitation she shared it was one of the nicer hotels in the city. Score!
The location couldn’t be beat, unless you wanted to shop and were on business and wanted to be close to downtown. For us, we enjoyed being close to restaurants (Fusions), sights (Al Fateh Grand Mosque), and within walking distance to markets and the Juffair beach.
The room was clean and spacious – we had so much room to spread out, keep the iron out and still had room to enjoy ourselves.
The lobby was also welcoming. Oh, and one thing to note is that you can’t drink the tap water in Bahrain. We had bottled water delivered just about every day. Same with Abu Dhabi, no tap water. We could, however, drink it in Dubai and in Doha.
Overall, we had an enjoyable time in Manama, Bahrain. Large part due to our comfort at the Wyndham Garden Hotel. If you’re ever in Manama and are looking for a place to stay, check it out! The spacious rooms are awesome – plus, the customer service is great, too!
Thanks for stopping by and happy travelling.
