Travel: Tea House Phnom Penh

The Tea House Phnom Penh is a delightful urban hotel with a pool, a spa and a good restaurant! The best part of the Tea House is the location. It’s quite central and close to the Lucky Supermarket (they have good snacks).

The Entrance

Phnom Penh is the capital of Cambodia and it’s a busy city. The Tea House is on a busy street and it looks rather run down from the outside, however, don’t be fooled – it’s delightful.

When you enter you’ll see a tuk-tuk sign with rates – we rarely paid this much, yet it’s a good indicator to not overpay!

The lilies are on either side of a long walkway as you enter the open concept hotel.

The Lobby

Tea? Yes. Comfy seating? Yes.

This area is so peaceful and calming – I could have hung out for hours.

Our Room

Rain shower, they’re actually quite annoying if you don’t want to get your hair wet, the bright orange and the wifi all added to the pleasant visit.

Plus, white sheets are the best – it’s easy to tell the place is clean. The pillows at the Tea House Phnom Penh were probably the most comfortable on the whole trip. Or I was just really tired.

The Pool

Phnom Penh is hot in April and May and it’s a must to get a hotel with a pool. We scored well with this location since they even offered additional pool towels. You could even order from the restaurant and eat pool side. There were moments when we didn’t even want to leave our hotel. The Tea House Phnom Penh is the place to stay, trust me.
