Edmonton International Fringe Festival
Fringe
North America’s oldest and largest Fringe Festival – right here in Edmonton!
More than 200 plays.
Busking Acts.
Local Vendors.
More Buskers…
The food…so good! Samosas and Shave Ice!
It’s T-I-double gg – er…Tigger!
Maybe next year you’ll visit! Actors, buskers, and tourists, from all over the world, flock to Edmonton in late August every year…we’re expecting you!
This year is the first year (2012) that fringe tickets sales produced more than $1 million in revenue for artists!
The Edmonton International Fringe Festival holds a special place in each Edmontonian’s heart – it’s like this small little (or not so little) artistic achievement we’re super proud of. I’ve seen only a small number of plays at Fringe and they’ve been quality. There’s something meaningful about attending – like I’m a part of something bigger. It’s neat.
If you ever get the chance to visit Edmonton and you like entertainment, then visit during the Fringe Festival. There will be so much to do and you won’t regret it for one single second. Oh, parking will be hard to find, so do leave early and give yourself a few extra minutes. A little tip – the High Level Street Car runs extra cars during the Edmonton International Fringe Festival. Plus, it’s just so fun to ride the street car.
Thanks for visiting and I’ll see you again soon!
