Recipe: Garlic Herb Boursin Mashed Potatoes
Garlic herb Boursin mashed potatoes – yes, please! I’m a cheese and potato lover. Honestly, sometimes when Bryce works nights I’ll have potatoes for dinner. Seems strange, I know – yet it’s just flat out the best comfort food. These potatoes are rich and creamy, the kind you have for Thanksgiving when you want to amp up your standard mashed potatoes. Okay, let’s get cooking!
Ingredients
2 pounds of Yukon potatoes
1/2 a pack each of Bourisn garlic and shallot
4 oz of cream cheese
2/3 of a cup of heavy cream
1/4 cup of butter
chopped chives
salt to taste
First, peel and cut your potatoes. Then, dice evenly and add to a salted boiling pot for 20 minutes.
Set the oven to 350 degrees. In a mixer add everything except the chopped chives. Mix well.
Next, dish out into an oven safe serving dish – bake for 10 minutes until the top is nice an toasty.
Top with the freshly chopped chives and you’re all set!
Seems like an easy dish, yet it brings so much warmth and coziness to the table. Enjoy this flavourful and creamy dish.
